Designed as more than a product launch, the evening transformed the venue into a curated experience where guests explored craftsmanship, design philosophy, and audio innovation behind Sony’s latest flagship headphones. The launch also marked the 10th anniversary of Sony’s legendary 1000X series, which has redefined personal listening since the debut of the MDR-1000X in 2016.

The evening opened with a dramatic ballet-led product reveal, unveiling 1000X THE COLLEXION against a backdrop of movement, music, and visual storytelling. Guests were then welcomed by Sony executives, including Shuhei Sugihara, President and Managing Director of Sony Philippines, and Kentaro Imamura, Sony Philippines’ Marketing Director, who shared the vision behind the new product and Sony’s continuing commitment to delivering elevated listing experiences.

A highlight of the evening was the panel discussion “Talk That Talk,” moderated by Rammy Bitong, featuring the country’s most influential voices across creative industries: renowned fashion designer Rajo Laurel, entrepreneur and lifestyle personality Mika Lagdameo, creative director Daryl Chang, and Archie Carrasco, Chairman and CEO of AGC Power Holdings Corp. Together, they explored how sound influences creativity, productivity, entrepreneurship, and self-expression, while sharing how the Sony 1000X THE COLLEXION seamlessly fits into their personal and professional lives.
