BASE Bahay Foundation (BASE), a non-profit organization dedicated to sustainable building solutions, is proud to announce its role as co-organizer of the Bamboo Housing Challenge. This international design competition, launched in partnership with Bamboo U, a pioneer in bamboo training courses in Bali, and supported by the Hilti Foundation, invites architects, designers, engineers, students, and creative thinkers worldwide to reimagine affordable housing through the lens of bamboo innovation. The winning prototype will be built at full scale in Bali, Indonesia.
