Milly Alcock Takes Flight in the New ‘Supergirl’ Trailer Arriving in PH Cinemas June 24

This summer, a new symbol of hope takes flight as DC Studios releases the first official trailer of Supergirl, starring rising Hollywood star Milly Alcock in the iconic role of Kara Zor-El. Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, the highly anticipated film arrives in Philippine cinemas on June 24, 2026, promising an action-packed and emotional journey about identity, courage, and finding one’s place in the universe.


Directed by Craig Gillespie (Cruella, I, Tonya), Supergirl introduces a complex and deeply human version of the heroine. Alcock, known for her breakout role in HBO’s House of the Dragon, brings emotional depth to Kara as she navigates loss, justice, and self-discovery. When a ruthless adversary strikes close to home, Kara reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on a journey across the cosmos, confronting powerful enemies and uncovering truths about herself along the way.

The film is executive produced by Nigel Gostelow, Chantal Nong Vo and Lars P. Winther. Behind the camera, Gillespie is joined by director of photography Rob Hardy, production designer Neil Lamont, editor Tatiana S. Riegel, costume designer Anna B.
