The Juans’ Singapore stop for their “TAWID” Album Tour sold out ahead of its November 16, 2025, 5 p.m. show at SMU Hall 1, proving that the bayanihan spirit of Filipinos thrives even far from home.

The sold-out show marks a full-circle moment for The Juans, who had faced uncertainty over ticket sales. On October 30, lead vocalist Carl Guevarra posted a sincere TikTok video sharing the not-so-good news from the producers as the concert date approached, fearing an empty venue or worse, a canceled show.

But The Juans are not ones to back down. From October 31 to November 4, the band made an early trip to Singapore to promote the show, holding pre-event activities that included surprise busking and personally connecting with fans and fellow kababayans, all documented in their mini-series “SOS: Stories of Singapore.”

“When we went to Singapore for the early visit, hindi na naging tungkol sa pagbebenta ng tickets ‘yung nangyari. We were overwhelmed by the whole experience of witnessing firsthand the stories of our kababayans, at marami kaming natutunan sa pakikipagsapalaran nila doon. We’re lucky to have connected with Pinoys in Singapore at patuloy naming ibabahagi ang mga kwento ng bawat Juan through our music.” Carl shared.

During the trip, Carl’s TikTok video also went viral, a development that sparked fans old and new to rally behind the band. Even SB19’s fanbase, A’TIN, joined in, amplifying support and helping promote the Singapore show.

“Umuwi kami nang may ngiti sa mga puso namin knowing na pinagtibay kami lalo nung experience at pinaalala sa’min bakit namin ‘to ginagawa in the first place.” added Japs Mendoza, the band’s lead guitarist.

The result? The Juans Live in Singapore sold out completely, filling the venue to capacity. The band learned of the sellout on the same day they released episode 1 of their vlog series SOS: Stories of Singapore.

The milestone highlights the enduring bayanihan spirit of Filipinos abroad, who came together to support and celebrate homegrown OPM talent. What started with uncertain ticket sales ended in a sold-out concert, a testament to The Juans’ dedication and their mission to inspire Filipinos worldwide.
