The local music scene gathered in full force on January 11, 2026, as the 11th Wish Music Awards (WMA) took over the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Hosted by Christian Bautista and Karylle, the event celebrated another year of record-breaking hits and viral “Wishclusive” performances that have redefined the sound of OPM.

The evening was a massive night for P-pop powerhouse SB19, singer-songwriter TJ Monterde, and rising band Cup of Joe, all of whom walked away with multiple trophies across the major categories.

The Wish Music Awards
Since its inception in 2016, the Wish Music Awards has established itself as one of the most prestigious and unique award-giving bodies in the Philippines. Presented by the FM radio station Wish 107.5, the awards honor the year’s best artists, songs, and Wishclusive performances—live sets recorded inside the iconic, high-tech Wish Bus.
What truly sets the WMAs apart is its commitment to charity. The event is built on a wish-granting philosophy where winners of major categories receive a 25,000 pesos cash prize for themselves, while an additional 100,000 pesos is donated to a charitable beneficiary of their choice. This model ensures that every victory on stage translates into a tangible helping hand for various non-profit organizations across the country, ranging from child welfare foundations to environmental groups.
